By taking the Joetsu Shinkansen, you can reach Jomo Kogen Station in only 63 minutes from Tokyo Station. Access by car is also excellent, with the hotel conveniently located approximately 10 minutes from the Mizukami Interchange on the Kanetsu Expressway. The accessibility of Tsukiyono, which can accommodate various needs, such as a short weekend stay or a long vacation, can be said to be one of its major strengths.

Minakami Town is surrounded by magnificent mountains such as Mt. Tanigawa and Mt. Akagi, and is rich in nature with the clear Tone River flowing through it. The town offers a variety of leisure facilities such as hot springs, ski resorts, golf courses, and campgrounds, attracting tourists throughout the year.
Spring (March to May): As the snow melts, the mountains sprout new leaves and flowers bloom in profusion. A relaxing soak in a hot spring while viewing the cherry blossoms at Takaragawa Onsen or Mizukami Onsen is also a good choice. Ikaho Onsen is also close by.
Summer (June to August):Some places are still in their pristine natural state, and on summer nights, fireflies can be seen flitting about, making for a fantastic spectacle. In summer, visitors can fully enjoy outdoor activities, such as river rafting, canoeing, and hiking in the surrounding mountains.
Autumn (September to November):In autumn, of course, the surrounding mountains turn red and yellow, offering beautiful autumn foliage scenery. From late October to early November, the “Minakami Autumn Foliage Festival” is held in Minakami, featuring illuminated foliage and other events.
Winter (December to February):In winter, the entire area is covered with snow. Tanigawadake Tenjindaira Ski Resort and Naeba Ski Resort are also within driving distance. Tanigawadake Tenjindaira Ski Resort (20 minutes by car) and Naeba Ski Resort (40 minutes by car) offer ski resorts that can be enjoyed by beginners and experts alike. These ski resorts offer powder snow to the fullest.
Of course, there are also a variety of hot springs. There are many unique hot spring resorts such as Takaragawa Onsen (about 30 minutes by car), Mizukami Onsen (about 15 minutes by car), and Yuhiso Onsen (about 20 minutes by car). Many facilities also offer one-day bathing.
Other leisure facilities include a golf course (Minakami Golf Club / approx. 10 min. by car), where visitors can enjoy playing golf surrounded by nature.
